Newtown, PA – June 2025 — Unified Public Advocacy is proud to announce that its President, Timothy Clauss, has been commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel, the highest honor awarded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The title, bestowed by the Governor of Kentucky, recognizes individuals for noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to community, state, and nation. Mr. Clauss was honored for his lifelong commitment to disaster relief, insurance fairness, and empowering underserved communities through advocacy and education.
“Being named a Kentucky Colonel is not just a personal honor,” said Clauss. “It represents the collective efforts of everyone at Unified Public Advocacy who fights every day to make sure policyholders get the fair treatment they deserve.”
Under Mr. Clauss’s leadership, Unified Public Advocacy has grown into the nation’s only 501(c)(3) nonprofit public adjusting firm, helping thousands of homeowners and property owners recover after natural disasters. The organization educates policyholders on their rights, provides free claim reviews, and assists with insurance negotiations especially in areas hit hardest by hurricanes, wildfires, and storms.
Unified Public Advocacy operates across all 50 states and Puerto Rico, working closely with fire departments, civic leaders, and local nonprofits to advocate for those left behind by insurance carriers.
